Welcome Chris Gaffney

We’re very pleased to welcome Chris Gaffney to the Collective Idea team.

Chris has actually been working with us for a few months, helping out with a handful of client projects. He also took the lead on helping us get a new continuous integration server setup, one that is much more reliable than what we’ve had before. As part of the project, he lead the charge on hooking up our new stoplight to wifi (more on this soon). Additionally, he has chipped in on our open-source projects, like adding Rails 3 support to MongoMapper.

Chris has a great Ruby on Rails background in addition to great skills in event-driven programming and integrating with hardware systems. He’s already been a great compliment to our skill sets, and will be a great addition to the team.

We’re excited to work with Chris, and we’re excited for him to meet all of you.
