Welcome Zach Moazeni

Meet Zach Moazeni, a sharp coder, deep thinking, and all around good guy.

We’ve worked with Zach lots over the years, both contracting for his previous employers, and us using him as a contractor. We know him well and are excited for him to join us full-time.

After lobbying us to hire him a while ago, Zach went off on his own and started Connection Required, his own consulting company. There he’s been doing some great work and also started the Northern Michigan Web and Mobile Meetup. After some discussion, we decided that it made sense for both of us to bring Zach into the fold. He’s behind our vision of creating a company greater than the sum of its parts.

In addition to his great Ruby chops, Zach has also taught Java and we’re looking forward to having him help with Idea Foundry (sorry, no Java classes) and other projects around the office.

Zach lives near Traverse City, Michigan, so we technically have an office there now. He loves visitors, so go claim a desk and hang out with him if you’re in the area.

Daniel founded Collective Idea in 2005 to put a name to his growing and already full-time freelance work. He works hard writing code, teaching, and mentoring.
