Welcome Tres Trantham

We’re happy to (belatedly) announce that Tres Trantham has joined the Collective Idea family. If you’ve been in our office over the last year, you’ve probably seen Tres hanging out. Since he moved to Holland from Jacksonville, Florida, he’s been a staple in our office helping out with random Raspberry Pi and iOS projects in his spare time.

Tres comes to us from the world of “big data[1]” in major banks and insurance firms. He’s been called things like Data Architect, Business Intelligence Analyst, and used to hang out in Data Warehouses. We’re hoping he can explain some of these things to us.

We’ve been teaching him the ways of the frozen north. Scaring him into buying snow tires and shovels. So far he’s survived, so we’re excited to bring him into the fold.

Help us give Tres a warm welcome!

[1] Tres hates the term “big data” which makes it fun to say.

Welcome to Michigan, Tres! Not every winter is like this (but many are). Congratulations on growing again, Collective Idea!
